Metal: Hand-Crafted 22K Gold
This fantastic necklace belongs in a museum. Entirely hand-crafted even to the alloying of the gold. The removable Medallion carries the 35.84c Tourmaline upon its dome like a jewel in a crown. The scroll pattern on the side is Repousse created by hammering inside and out over and over agan until the desired pattern emerges. The rope detail on the edges is hand pulled then twisted.
The connecter carries the smaller 11.25c Tourmaline. It can be removed or worn as a stunning detail on a beautiful chain.
And lastly, the chain. 18" on its own, the 22K chain consists of a series of twists, eyelets and rings, one end stopping on a ring, the other ending on a lovley little hand-sculpted coin medallion with a hook closure.
In total, this work of art weighs in at 87.2dwt (approximately 130.8g) which is 4.36 OZ Troy.
